To study abroad there are a number of prerequisites that must be met for admission to one of the universities and colleges. In addition to these mandatory conditions, you should familiarize yourself with the country, its people and its culture. A good preparation for a longer stay in a country is always a pleasure. Before studying in France for example, you could attend a language course. The basic prerequisite for higher education in France is a completed high school. As a student, you must obviously have sufficient knowledge of the language. Although the official EU scheme allows studying in France without a voice detection, it is left to the universities to check your knowledge of French through a language test. Have you completed an approved French language course in Germany with the attainment of the diploma DELF or DALF language, you must demonstrate no further knowledge. Do you have during your school days ended French one-credit course with a good grade or you are in possession of a Franco-German Abitur, you are also allowed to test without studying. Would you do a master's degree after another in Germany or other EU Member State obtaining a bachelor's degree, which is possible due to the Bologna system.

The French Revolution was the introduction to the modern era, it was both the great achievements of our time such as democracy, human rights, separation of powers, equality before the law, voting rights, a constitution, in short, the end of feudalism and of absolutism, and the terror reign of a dictator with arbitrary convictions and “mechanized” killings, the worst excesses of the 20th Century dominated.

Causes and reasons for the French Revolution

The emergence and spread

Took the revolution of several factors. One was the antithesis of the stands, which led to great dissatisfaction: Of the estimated 25 million people who lived in France in 1789, 23 million belonged to the third level, ie They were mostly farmers and had to make a large portion of their income to landowners, the church and king, while clerics and nobles paid no taxes. Then, when another crop failure brought the people in dire straits, exacerbated this anger her.

Same time, the winds, due to the time of the Enlightenment, good for social change. Although the writings of Montesquieu, Rousseau and Voltaire were not accessible to normal people, but they put into question the legitimacy of the king and convinced some clergy and nobles, to fight on the side of the Third Estate.

In addition, the Ancien Régime

Was due to the fact that it had supported the American colonies against England, and the lavish lifestyle of the absolutist Bourbon kings, shortly before the bankruptcy.

Founding of the National Assembly

Attempts to rehabilitate the ailing financial system failed, after which Louis XVI. convened the Estates General, which had not met since 1614th The Third Estate demanded more rights while, was Louis XVI. but rejected. It declared on 17 June, the Third Estate and some well-wishers from the First and Second level, the National Assembly, ie they claimed to represent the entire French nation and give it a constitution. This was acknowledged by the king under pressure, at the same time he ordered troops to Paris.

Storming of the Bastille

The Constituent Assembly made only slow progress, while that of Louis XVI. ordered troops again drove the price of bread in the air. The stumbling block for the escalation of the situation, however, was the dismissal of the popular finance minister Necker, the people regarded as the Biotechnology Industry.

On 14

July, the people stormed the Bastille and the assassination of the commander Launay, there was the first prominent victim. . Louis XVI, who had not yet heard on the evening of the storming of the Bastille, noted in his diary: “Nothing, Necker left.” Shortly thereafter he was informed by a Duke and will probably have exclaimed: “But the . is indeed a revolt “What contradicted him was:” No, Your Majesty, this is a revolution “.

“Grande Peur”

It really was a revolution and the unrest spread to the country. The Third Estate in the province was harassed, excited and frightened by a revenge of the nobility. This triggered an outbreak of violence in the farmers who looted, pillaged and destroyed all archives of documents about Mr. Rights. To reassure them, the National Assembly abolished serfdom in the shortest possible time, tax exemption of the first two estates, and similar decrees from and written about human rights.

However

Was the principle of “Liberte, Egalite, Fraternity” only for white males. Although there were always women like Olympe de Gouges, in their treatise “Les Droit de la Femme et de la Citoyenne” demanded equal rights, but this idea was completely foreign to the revolutionaries, not to say “lä cherlich. “

So the church was converted into a fortress several times: in early records to protect against marauding Vikings, later, during the Hundred Years' War, when English siege site and as a prison at the time of the French Revolution.also can be architecturally in the abbey of Mont St. Michel, a stylistically varied development of the follow up to the Pre-Romanesque Gothic. Victor Hugo was the time at least as enthusiastic about the construction, as Goethe once in our country from the cathedral in Cologne. By the founder of French Romanticism, a national awareness of the cultural heritage of Mont St. Michel was created that allowed for the preservation and restoration until later.

Pilgrim towns on the Gulf of St. Malo – then and now

First time in the 12th Century, visited the abbey church of the first streams of pilgrims. The Way of St. James was certainly doing its part, also the founding legend of Mont St. Michel, an apparition of the Archangel Michael is based. This appeared to the Archbishop of Auverche and ordered no less than to build a chapel on a rock on the English Channel. It declined until use, the representative of the heavenly one brutal punishment had to move to the clergy attending the groundbreaking ceremony. Even today, these perforated skull of the bishop is to be seen as a relic. And this is also admired today. Distributed throughout the year to 3.6 million visitors jostle through the small town at the foot of the mountain up through the narrow streets of the Grande Rue in the monastery.

Floods fast as galloping horses

The statement should have said Victor Hugo, as he watched the swift tides of Mont St. Michel. Since then, the building was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, this spectacle has waned, however indirectly, the rocky island is now more watts in the dry and the sea roars a few miles away. Since 2006 the French government is taking costly precautions in order to insulate the silting of the bay literally. Thus provides, among other things since 2008, a tidal causeway for a continuous rise in water level at the St. Michel to the rocky island in a few years back is a real island, surrounded the picturesque as to Hugo's on the tide times can be.

This year's circuit, unlike other years seems rather time-trial specialists such as Alberto Contador or Tony Martin to come forward. Two long stages against the clock over almost 100 km could be both for the three-time Tour winner and for the time trial world champion from Cottbus advantage.
Ends of the Tour de France 2012 in Paris, traditionally, when the peloton on 22 July the riders in yellow headed to the Champs-Elysees. Whether the winner of the 99th Course at the end, however, could actually be called Contador, remains to be seen, because at the time the Spaniard is under suspicion of doping. A ruling by the International Court of Sport CAS is in November. That are to start in summer next year, other drivers suspected or convicted is not excluded.
Tour de France 2012: riders before time

This year's circuit, unlike other years seems rather time-trial specialists such as Alberto Contador or Tony Martin to come forward. Two long stages against the clock over almost 100 km could be both for the three-time Tour winner and for the time trial world champion from Cottbus advantage. A new addition to an increase of 18% slope, not on the plan are L'Alpe d'Huez and Mont Ventoux, and a team time trial.

AUx Champs-Elysées

Ends of the Tour de France 2012 in Paris, traditionally, when the peloton on 22 July the riders in yellow headed to the Champs-Elysees. Whether the winner of the 99th Course at the end, however, could actually be called Contador, remains to be seen, because at the time the Spaniard is under suspicion of doping. A ruling by the International Court of Sport CAS is in November. That are to start in summer next year, other drivers suspected or convicted is not excluded. The tour will come anyway – not with all excluded drivers.
